The original Town Hill Schoolhouse (circa 1870-1946) is maintained by the VIS. It is now called the Town Hill Community Hall and is used for community & private events.
In 2007, a very inclusive report on the history of the West Eden Schoolhouse was made by VIS member David W. Lind. For more information about this report, please contact us.
The hall is available for use for a small donation. The hall has full kitchen facilities and bathrooms and has two floors available for birthday parties, baby showers, business meetings, yoga instruction, music lessons, etc.
VIS members: $35
Non-members: $50 for one floor
Non-members: $80 for both floors
